• Management

Owned and operated by the Kingdom of Spain, the school follows Spanish schools governance arrangements as follows: The school ́s chief executive officer is the Spanish Embassy Education Attaché and the school does not have a board of trustees as that in UK schools. Subject leaders agree on educational decisions in the Teaching and Learning Committee (Comisión de Coordinación Pedagógica). There is also a School Advisory Board (Consejo Escolar) which meets four times a year to be informed about how the school is going and agree on some matters, mostly economic. The leadership team, teaching and non teaching staff, parents and pupils have a representative there. There is also a School Council where every class group bring at one or two class representatives. They meet at least once every half term or when they think it is needed to share their views and make suggestions to the Deputy Heads. There is a parents association, they collaborate with the school in some activities. They organise a parents school with talks about topics related to education and children and teenagers wellbeing and safety. The school's leadership team is a small team: the Headteacher, the Deputy Head for Early Years and Primary, the Deputy Head for Secondary and Sixth Form, and the Bursar/Secretary. The School Counsellor is also the Safeguarding Lead and works closely with the leadership team. Subject leaders and class tutors closely collaborate and advise the leadership team.
